November 27, 2020, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Tula Region held a joint online conference with export-oriented companies of the region in a format of “An hour with a Trade Representative”.
Along with the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea, Mr. Alexander Masaltsev, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region, Ms. Nadezhda Komarova and Deputy Head of the Tula Export Support Center, Ms. Polina Nikitenko took part in the event.
During the videoconference the participants discussed the South Korea market entry prospects for Russian companies working in such fields as medicine, food, furniture, petrochemical products, equipment for milk and cheese production.
The Trade Representation experts informed the Russian businesmen about necessary steps for entering into the market of the Republic of Korea, the ways of promoting their products, customs procedures, current restrictions and import duties, the main activities of the Trade Representation to support Russian exporters.
A Q&A session was held on such issues as due diligence of a partner before concluding a contract, specifics of delivering goods from the central part of Russia to the Republic of Korea and participation in international exhibition in South Korea.
