On February 26, 2021, the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea Alexander Masaltsev met with the Director of the Northern Trade and Coordination Division of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea (MOTIE) Jung Eung-gil.

The parties exchanged their opinions on promising areas of bilateral cooperation and the possibilities of expanding interagency contacts. In addition, the details of cooperation between the two countries in the field of hydrogen energy, unmanned vehicles and low-power agricultural equipment were deliberated. In particular, the Representative and the Director discussed the issues of organizing a working-level meeting to prepare the 2nd Russian-Korean seminar on cooperation in the field of hydrogen energy and other events.

During the conversation with the representatives of MOTIE, the intention was confirmed for further qualitative strengthening and diversification of bilateral economic cooperation and bringing it to a new level of development.
