On February 19, the Trade Representation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea together with the Moscow Export Center held a video conference with representatives of export-oriented Russian companies. 
During the event the participants discussed the process of entering the South Korean market for Russian-made medical equipment, incl. devices for people with disabilities, dental hygiene products and software for medical equipment. The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Korea Mr. Alexander Masaltsev and Deputy Director General of the Moscow Export Center Mr. Vitaly Stepanov. Employees of the Trade Representation informed the Russian companies’ representatives about the procedure for registration, certification and licensing of medicines and medical equipment, as well as about the ways of bringing Russian productsandR&Ds to the South Korean market. The experts of the Trade Representation also briefed the participants on success stories of Russian manufacturers of medical equipment in South Korea and shared their experience of interacting with potential counterparties in the time of the pandemic.
